Alex J. Fontaine is a former prosecutor and a member of the Florida Bar in good standing. During his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Fontaine was lead counsel on jury trials at both the felony and misdemeanor levels. While serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Fontaine worked in both the Felony Trial and Domestic Violence Units of the State Attorney’s Office. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office Mr. Fontaine worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the 19th Circuit of Florida where he represented clients with a variety of criminal charges ranging from 1st degree felonies to misdemeanors. While exclusively practicing criminal law in the State of Florida, Mr. Fontaine has actually tried jury trials in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Broward counties. Mr. Fontaine earned his Bachelor degree from Michigan State University’s School of Business and graduated with Honors, Cum Laude, from Nova Southeastern Law School. Mr. Fontaine has been featured on both Dateline NBC and 48 hours.
